Kearney, NE – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on W 8th St

Kearney, NE (August 11, 2020) – A car accident reported in the Kearney area left one person seriously injured. At around 11:40 a.m., on August 9, the Kearney Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on West 8th Street.

Reports provided by authorities show that a Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling south along 8th Street when it collided with a Lincoln Towncar at the inte4rsection with 2nd Avenue. The crash resulted in extensive damage to the passenger side of the Towncar. The 79-year-old passenger inside the car was seriously injured. The victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment of injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
