Omaha, NE (April 23, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident involving a construction vehicle resulted in injuries. At around 4:50 p.m., on April 22, the Omaha Fire Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South 32nd Avenue.
Reports show that a white van was traveling down the roadway when it collided with a construction vehicle at the intersection of South 32nd Avenue and Oak Street. One person had to be extricated from their vehicle.
A 25-year-old male was pinned inside their vehicle. The victim was transported via Medic 3 to a local hospital for treatment.
A second victim had his legs ran over by the construction vehicle. The victim was rushed via Medical 34 to a local trauma center for emergency medical assistance.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
