Dog Bites in Nebraska

Omaha, NE – Teen Injured in Dog Attack near S 49th St & Farnam StEvery year, over one million people are injured as a result of dog attacks in the United States. Although the majority of these incidents result in minor injuries to victims, thousands require extensive medical treatment for severe injuries to the nerve, bones, skin, and muscles. Many victims are left with permanent scarring and pain that continues to impact their lives indefinitely. When small children are victims of these attacks, it can have a serious impact on their ability to grow and thrive.

The unfortunate truth is that the majority of accidents throughout the state of Nebraska are a result of another person’s negligence. Although we can be diligent and in control of our actions, there is little we can do to ensure others act in the same responsible manner. This is especially true in situations where people acquire serious injuries as a result of a vicious dog attack. The fact that so many people are injured in preventable accidents is concerning.
