David joined Dyer Law in November of 2006. He is originally from Jackson, Michigan. In 1994, he met (but did not know it) his future wife, Anna, who is native to the Lincoln, Nebraska area. They were married in 1999. David graduated from Creighton University School of Law with his Juris Doctor degree in May of 2002. He earned two certificates for his concentrated studies in the areas of Dispute Resolution and Criminal Law and Procedure. He was also recognized for his achievements in Moot Court.

After graduating and passing the bar exam in 2002, he began working in Omaha at a small law firm where he worked in the areas of workers’ compensation, personal injury and criminal law. A few years later, he became an Assistant Attorney General in the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office where he worked until he joined Dyer Law.

David has experience in trial work and appellate work, including arguing before the Nebraska Supreme Court. When David is not in court or on the phone with a client, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, hunting, fishing, and scuba diving.

David Handley has traveled many miles since joining our team in 2006 to meet and help injured Nebraskans all across our state. David’s spirited style and client commitment have been great assets to Dyer Law.
