Auburn, NE – Woman Seriously Injured in Crash on 26th St

Auburn, NE (May 13, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident remains under investigation after a female pedestrian was discovered in critical condition along the side of a road in Lincoln Sunday evening.

At around 9 p.m., on May 10, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 26th Street. Reports from the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office indicate that a 23-year-old woman was found lying in a ditch on the side of the road.

The woman was struck by a motor vehicle and suffered critical life-threatening injuries. The woman was transported via Life Flight by StarCare to Bryan West in Lincoln for treatment.
