Lincoln, NE – 8-Year-Old Child Injured in Crash on S 27th St

Lincoln, NE (May 18, 2020) – A two-vehicle collision sent one victim to a local hospital with injuries on Saturday. At around 7:48 p.m., on May 16, the Lincoln Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South 27th Street.

Reports show that a silver 2003 Toyota RAV4, driven by 17-year-old Kelly J. Beer was traveling north along the roadway when it was struck by a white 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck, which was driven by 30-year-old Isaac R Johnson.

The impact of the collision caused the RAV 4 to spin around and leave the roadway, crash into a retaining wall and come to rest off the left side of the road.

An 8-year-old child inside the vehicle suffered injuries in the collision.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
