Lincoln, NE (June 3, 2020) – A protest on Saturday turned to injuries for two women involved. On May 30, during the evening hours, sisters Jaida Graves and Lacretia Contreras were protesting in downtown Lincoln when both women were struck by a white pickup truck.
Graves was knocked unconscious in the crash and was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with a concussion and bruised ribs.
Contreras, who was struck twice by the vehicle, suffered a brain injury in the crash.
At this time, police are investigating.
