Lincoln, NE (August 21, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident involving two cars left one person injured on Thursday, according to reports from the Lincoln Police Department. On August 20, the Lincoln Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on North 27th Street.
Reports from authorities show that 31-year-old Lazaro Vidal was driving a gray 2012 Honda Civic sedan on Hodges Street when he entered into the intersection with North 27th Street and struck a maroon 2004 Toyota Camry sedan, which was driven by 24-year-old Jason Duvon. Duvon sustained injuries in the accident. He was transported to Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center for further treatment. Neither Vidal nor Duvon’s passenger, 29-year-old Jaquelin A Alonzo, were injured in the accident. At this time, police in Lincoln are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
