Lincoln, NE (May 21, 2020) – A two-vehicle collision on Wednesday sent two victims to local hospitals with injuries.
At around 4:43 p.m., on May 20, the Lincoln Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on O Street.
Reports show that 26-year-old Nyachol Chuol was traveling down the roadway in a black 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE when her vehicle collided with a silver 2006 Cadillac DTS, which was driven by 42-year-old Jerome Welch at the intersection with 13th Street.
Chuol and her passenger, 23-year-old Hynalem Tut, were both injured in the collision. Both victims were transported to Bryan LGH Medical Center West for treatment to neck injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
