Nebraska City, NE (February 3, 2021) – A head-on collision reported near the Cass-Otoe county line claimed the lives of several people on Sunday evening. On January 31, the Nebraska Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on US Highway 75.
Reports from authorities show that a crash involving two vehicles occurred on US Highway 75 just north of Foster Lane. The crash caused severe damage to the vehicles involved.
A total of four people were fatally injured in the accident. The victims were identified as a 21-year-old female, a 22-year-old female, a 4-year-old girl, and a 5-year-old child. A fifth victim, identified as a 20-year-old female, was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
