Omaha, NE (July 21, 2020) – A pedestrian accident reported on Monday evening left one victim with critical injuries in the Omaha area. At approximately 10:35 p.m., on July 20, the Omaha Police Department and Omaha Fire Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on F Street.
According to reports, a male pedestrian was traveling through the area of F Street and South 28th Street when he was struck by a 2003 Buick Lesabre driven by 38-year-old Clair Simet. The man suffered traumatic head injuries in the accident and was having difficulties breathing. The victim, who was identified as 59-year-old Carl Tolles, was rushed to Nebraska Medical Center for treatment of extremely critical injuries. At this time, the police in Omaha are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
