Omaha, NE (April 20, 2021) – On Monday morning, just after 8:30 a.m., a child was hit and seriously injured by a vehicle near Belle Ryan Elementary School, according to reports from the Omaha Police Department.
Officers say that paramedics transported the child to a nearby hospital via ambulance for treatment. The events leading up to the accident are still unclear, though initial information from the scene indicated that the driver involved cooperated with authorities.
