Omaha, NE (November 10, 2020) – An accident in Sarpy County claimed the life of one man on Monday morning. On November 9, the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of an accident on South 147th Street.
Reports from authorities show that a driver with Heimes Corporation, located on South 147th Street, was attempting to dump concrete for recycling.
During the dumping process, that man exited his vehicle and was subsequently run over. Emergency crews rushed to the scene and secured the area. They approached the victim to assess his injuries and attempt to render aid. After reaching the man, they determined that the injuries were fatal. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding officers.
Investigations surrounding this accident are currently underway.
