Omaha, NE (September 10, 2020) – An auto accident reported on Wednesday morning left one person injured. At approximately 1:30 a.m., on September 9, the Omaha Fire Department and the police responded to the scene of a collision on Interstate 80.
Reports provided by authorities show that two vehicles collided on the westbound side of Interstate 80 near the exit for 72nd Street for unknown reasons. The impact of the crash caused severe damage to at least one vehicle involved.
One person involved in this accident was injured. The victim was rendered aid and rushed to an area hospital where they were admitted in serious condition. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
