Car Accidents in Nebraska
More than 1,000 people are hospitalized each year with injuries from collisions throughout Nebraska. The majority of accidents are caused by distracted drivers sharing the road. Nearly 40% of accidents throughout the United States occur at intersections caused by drivers who run red lights or pass through stop signs. Not only are victims forced to struggle moving forward, but their families are often forced to deal with the stacking financial burdens, lost income, and emotional consequences.
The unfortunate truth is that the majority of accidents throughout the state of Nebraska are a result of driver negligence. Although we can be diligent and in control of our actions while driving, there is little we can do to ensure others act in the same responsible manner. The fact that so many people are injured in preventable accidents is concerning. When victims are injured in accidents, it is crucial that they reach out to a car accident attorney in Nebraska as soon as possible. In some cases, accident victims are able to hold those at-fault accountable for their actions and recover compensation to alleviate the costs of medical treatment and more.
