Plattsmouth, NE (June 9, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Saturday left one woman injured, according to reports. Just after noon on June 6, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 24th Avenue.
Reports indicate that 39-year-old Kelly Sorensen was turning onto 24th Avenue at the intersection with Golden Hill Drive when he failed to yield the right of way to another vehicle. As a result, Sorensen’s vehicle collided with a sedan driven by 23-year-old Alexandra Church.
Church suffered injuries in the crash and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, police are investigating.
