Rock Creek, NE (December 16, 2020) – A woman was left seriously injured following a semi-truck crash in the Rock Creek area on Tuesday. At around 12:30 p.m., on December 15, the Nebraska State Patrol responded to the site of a crash on US Highway 77.
Reports from authorities show that a woman was traveling north on US Highway 77 when her SUV collided with a semi-truck near Interstate 80. The impact of the crash caused significant damage to the SUV while pinning the woman inside.
The woman was extricated from her vehicle by Lincoln Fire and Rescue before being rushed to an area hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
