Cass County, NE (February 25, 2021) – An automobile accident near Weeping Water resulted in injuries, according to local authorities. At around 3:15 p.m., on February 24, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a crash on Highway 50.
Reports from authorities show that 66-year-old Beverly Krier was driving on Highway 50 when her Chrysler 200 sedan collided with a semi-truck near Weeping Water. The crash left the sedan with significant damage.
Krier was seriously injured in the accident. She was transported via medical helicopter to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries. The driver of the semi-truck, 44-year-old Christopher Stickler, was not injured in the crash. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
