Omaha, NE (February 26, 2021) – One person was left injured following a motor vehicle accident in the Omaha metro on Thursday morning. Just before 3 a.m., on February 25, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on 36th Street.
Reports from the Omaha Police Department show that a pedestrian was walking on 36th Street when they were struck by a vehicle just north of Highway 370.
The pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where they underwent emergency medical treatment. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
