Nebraska City, NE (February 10, 2021) – An auto accident reported in the Nebraska City area on Tuesday afternoon sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. On February 9, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 11th Street.
Reports from authorities show that 37-year-old Amanda Collman was driving a Ford Explorer near the 11th Street exit when her vehicle collided with a Chrysler Town & Country driven by 80-year-old Shirley Nebelsick.
The crash caused moderate damage to the front of the vehicles. Nebelsick was injured in the accident. She was transported via EMS with the Nebraska City Fire and Rescue to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
