Omaha, NE – Bicyclist Injured in Accident on Martha St

Omaha, NE (June 18, 2020) – An automobile accident on Wednesday afternoon resulted in injuries, according to reports. Just after 2 p.m., on June 17, the Omaha Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Martha Street.

Reports from the OPD show that a 14-year-old male was riding his bicycle through the intersection of Martha Street and 16th Street when they were struck by a vehicle. The impact of the collision caused the boy to fall from his bike and strike the back of his head. The teen suffered a seizure in the incident and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
