Gretna, NE (June 17, 2020) – A serious motor vehicle accident involving a semi-truck left one person critically injured, according to reports. Just after 7:45 p.m., on June 15, emergency crews were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Highway 31.
Reports show that a motorcycle was traveling through the intersection of Highway 31 and the Interstate 80 westbound ramp exit when the rider’s vehicle collided with a semi-truck as it was turning onto the highway.
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in the accident and was transported to a local hospital via medical helicopter. The driver of the semi-truck suffered undisclosed injuries as well and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
