Omaha, NE (February 24, 2021) – An animal attack in the Omaha area left one person injured over the weekend. At around 9 p.m., on February 21, the Omaha Police Department was requested at the scene of an incident at Spring Lake Park.
Reports from the police show that a man, his wife, and his 7-year-old son were sledding at the park, which is located near South 15th Street and J Street when the young boy was attacked by a German shepherd.
The child sustained injuries in the incident. He was transported to a local hospital where he received treatment for injuries to his back. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
