Omaha, NE (August 17, 2020) – A dog attack reported in Omaha left one young child seriously injured. On August 14, the Omaha Fire Department responded to the scene of a vicious dog attack near South 60th Street.
Reports show that a 1-year-old child was in the area on South 60th Street and Arbor Street when they were attacked by three Doberman dogs. The child sustained severe injuries to the head and was bleeding and unconscious when emergency crews arrived. Crews were able to wake the young girl while rendering aid at the scene. The young girl was rushed to Nebraska Medicine Nebraska Medical Center as a code three trauma alert. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
