Omaha, NE (July 2, 2020) – A multi-vehicle accident on West Maple Road resulted in injuries, according to reports. On June 30, the Omaha Police Department and Fire Department responded to the scene of a collision on West Maple Road. Reports from police show that a chain of vehicles was traveling east on West Maple Road when they collided near the intersection with North 147th Street. Crews secured the area and assessed the damages to vehicles.
Crews reported that a white SUV involved in the crash received some damages, a dark-colored SUV received front end damages, and a pickup truck received damages to the front and rear-end. Another silver SUV received extensive front end damages in the crash. Several people were rendered medical treatment at the scene. An unknown number of victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
