Omaha, NE (May 14, 2020) – On May 13, at around 12:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Harrison Street.
Reports show that 33-year-old Maksim Shcerbiy was traveling south along 132nd St on a 2014 Honda 150cc motorcycle when his vehicle was struck by a 2015 Buick Lacross sedan, which was driven by 49-year-old Diana Ramer.
Shcerbiy was critically injured in the collision. He was rushed to Bergan Mercy Hospital via Omaha Fire Medics. Authorities confirm that he died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
