Madison, NE – Charlie Kethcart Killed & 4 Injured in Collision on US-81

Madison, NE (April 16, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Tuesday claimed one victim’s life and left four others injured.

On April 14, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to an auto collision on US Highway 81. Reports from MCSO show that a Nissan Murano was traveling north along the highway when it collided with an eastbound Buick Le Sabre at the intersection with Nebraska Highway 32.

A passenger inside the Buick, who was identified as 73-year-old Charlie Kethcart, sustained fatal injuries in the collision. The Buick driver was seriously injured in the accident. The driver and three other victims were all transported to area hospitals for treatment.

The accident remains under investigation.
