Omaha, NE (July 6, 2020) – A pedestrian accident in Omaha on Sunday claimed one man’s life, according to reports. Just after 6 p.m., on July 5, the Omaha Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on L Street.
Reports from the OPD show that a male pedestrian was walking near the intersection of L Street and 96th Street when he was struck by a vehicle. The impact of the crash sent the man off to the westbound shoulder of the road. The man sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, police are investigating.
