Omaha, NE (August 3, 2020) – A motorcycle accident reported on Saturday sent one rider to an area hospital for treatment of injuries. On August 1, the Omaha Fire Department responded to the site of a collision on North 72nd Street.
Reports provided by the Omaha Police Department show that at approximately 10:05 p.m., a motorcyclist was traveling on North 72nd Street. As the motorcyclist stopped his vehicle on North 72nd Street for a red night at the intersection with Cass Street when they were struck from behind by a gray SUV. The motorcyclist, who was identified as a 25-year-old man, sustained serious injuries in the accident. The victim was rendered treatment at the scene and transported to a local hospital for further assistance. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
