Omaha, NE – Pedestrian Injured in Accident on 72nd St

Omaha, NE (June 4, 2020) – An automobile accident on Thursday left one person injured in Omaha. At 10:25 a.m., on June 4, the Omaha Fire Department was called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 72nd Street.

Reports indicate that a male pedestrian was walking across the roadway at the intersection of 72nd Street and Ames Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian suffered injuries to his lower extremities and was transported to a local hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Omaha Police department.
