Car Accidents in Nebraska
Each year, more than 13,500 people are injured in motor vehicle accidents throughout Nebraska. The vast majority of victims sustain minor injuries in these accidents. Regrettably, more than 1,200 of those harmed are hospitalized with severe injuries from their accidents. Victims who suffer catastrophic injuries require extensive medical treatment, hospitalization, and therapy. The aftermath of an accident can be a trying time for everyone involved. The emotional, mental, and financial impacts victims are often forced to endure can be overwhelming. Not only are victims forced to struggle moving forward, but their families are often forced to deal with the stacking financial burdens, lost income, and emotional consequences.
The unfortunate truth is that the majority of accidents throughout the state of Nebraska are a result of driver negligence. Although we can be diligent and in control of our actions while driving, there is little we can do to ensure others act in the same responsible manner.
