Richland Viii, NE (December 11, 2020) – A major head-on collision reported on Thursday evening left one person severely injured. At around 6:10 p.m., on December 10, the Omaha Fire Department, the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, and the Papillion Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Cornhusker Road.
Reports from authorities show that a white sedan and a second vehicle collided head-on at the intersection of Cornhusker Road and South 144th Street. The crash left both vehicles with moderate damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
One person involved in the accident, a 65-year-old female, was rushed to CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy for the treatment of code two injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
