Omaha, NE –Michael Tresler Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Abbott Dr

Omaha, NE (September 30, 2020) – An automobile accident in the Omaha area claimed one man’s life late Saturday evening. At 11:15 p.m., on September 26, the Omaha Fire Department and Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Abbott Drive.

Reports show that 31-year-old Michael Tresler was riding a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle north on Abbott Drive when his vehicle collided with a 2003 Dodge Ram near the intersection with Crown Point Avenue.

The impact of the crash caused severe injuries for Tresler. Crews rendered aid on the injured man but the extent of injuries was too severe. Tresler was rushed to an area hospital where he was declared deceased.

The driver of the pickup truck, 20-year-old Mario Alsidez-Longoria, was uninjured in the crash. At this time, police are investigating to determine what led up to the collision.
