Our Story
1983:
Founder Mike Dyer, while working on NYPD’s Tactical Patrol Unit, is injured in the line of duty—an injury that eventually forces him to retire.
1987:
Mike moves from Long Island, New York to Omaha, Nebraska to study law. He wants to help victims of vehicular and work accidents in similar experiences as his.
1992:
Mike earns his law degree and opens Dyer Law to become an advocate for the injured, with a particular passion for victims of drunk driving.
2003:
Dyer Law opens a second office in Lincoln to better serve clients across the state, continuing the firm’s mission of accessible, people-first representation.
2022-Present:
Mike Dyer is recognized as one of the Top 100 National Trial Lawyers.
